Anthony and Joe Russo, the filmmaking duo behind Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier, are teaming up with A Nightmare Before Christmas (and Coraline) director Henry Selick to bring horror adventure video game Little Nightmares to the small screen.
The Russo bros will develop and exec produce the television series with Dmitri M. Johnson and Stephan Bugaj of DJ2 Entertainment, the company making a name for itself adapting video games such as Life Is Strange and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Selick will direct the pilot and possibly other episodes.
well this is some of the most out of the blue movie news i've seen in awhile. what a weird choice for such huge talent but whatever I'm undoubtedly gonna love it anyways.
Fuck yes I love Henry Selick, Coraline's one of my favorite movies and even if this turns out bad it'll still be cool to watch (if it's stop motion)
Little Nightmares looked intriguing - is it worth picking up?

Yeah, but it seems to be a very short game. 3 hours at best.
