Rapper ScHoolboy Q once said, "Only thing I got is my girl and my dogs."
Friday night, however, United Airlines put that statement to the test after they accidentally flew the rapper's dog -- Yeeerndamean -- to the wrong city during a layover.
The rapper expressed his dismay and anger toward the airline on Twitter.
"You guys r idiots @united HOW U PUT MY DOG ON THE WRONG FLIGHT???? I need answers," he wrote.
ScHoolboy Q, whose real name is Quincy Matthew Hanley, said he was traveling with his dog from Missouri to Burbank, California. But during a layover in Denver, the airline mistakenly switched his dog with another.
Unfortunate
Why do people even fly United anymore??

I imagine price has a lot to do with it. If you're flying on a budget most people will take what they can get.
A dog switch, which means someone else is rather pissed as well
Okay, it goes without saying that this is a shitty, shitty situation and I hope both these guys get their dogs back fast.
But I have to ask how you make the decision to name your dog 'Yeeerndamean'.

It's Schoolboy Q. His veins has lean instead of blood.
The American airline industry is an utter joke. Nearly every country with a major airline does it better than us.

I figured Schoolboy Q wasn't broke. I know who he is, so it's not like he's superdeep underground or anything
I feel bad for Q. When he lost his first dog he kept upping bounties on Snapchat day by day hoping someone to find him. He really does care about his dogs :(

I just don't get it I guess, I'll happily pay the extra $50-100 to use a good airline like Delta, and often you can find very cheap upgrades to first class if you fly at weird times.
[editline]15th July 2017[/editline]
I mean in general I disdain budget airlines, it's generally a race to the bottom and you lose a lot to save a little. If everyone was willing to pay $50 more on average per pass, then we could all be flying first class quality for just above coach prices.

Not everyone's budget is the same as yours. I rather go for a cheaper airline and save a couple hundred for the actual trip itself then for some plane ride that I'll be asleep for most of it.
I catch alot of flack from my snobby friends for taking a 4 hour bus to NY then an airplane. The bus ride is less then 40 bucks and I deal with ALOT less hassle then going through airports.

You do you. It just bothers me that people always talk about how much airlines suck, and that they used to be so much better, etc. When in reality the prime cause of this is the race to the bottom.
what
The rapper's dog name is Yeeerndamean

Low prices do not excuse incompetence. Easyjet does not fuck up nearly as bad as United does, hell, not even Ryanair does. $50 is a HUGE difference in ticket prices and consumers shouldn't have to be worried that the airline won't do its job.
You stand on your high horse but you fail to realize that for most people, the extra $100 you're willing to pay for being transported from A to B is the difference between going on a plane trip or staying at home.
I could go to France for 20€ with Easyjet or Ryanair, but if I have to travel Air France or TAP Portugal, I gotta pay ~150€ for the exact same flight but with some rubbish amenities added to it.

Both those are inter-european airlines yes?
It's extremely difficult to compare European ones to American ones due to both the TSA, and how large the US is.
Anyway, the cost to simply fuel a plane, pay the pilot, pay for the plane service life, air dues, etc. There is a margin that you cannot dip below without losing money, and quite frankly most coach seats skim it. Because of that you're having to cut costs elsewhere, and I think the results speak for themselves.
If people want cheap airfare then sure, but you can't complain about the state of airlines when everyone is racing to the bottom like this.

Yes, you absolutely can complain if the service is not up to minimum standards, which in this case, it wasn't. Budget airlines were created due to demand, if they disappear it doesn't mean that people will start flying legacy, most people who flew budget will just stop flying altogether, which does not benefit anyone.
Doesn't seem like a big deal considering the amount of pets they transport daily.

Who gives a shit? Enjoy your $300 plane ticket to be offered complimentary peanuts, discount champagne and 6" more legroom, I'll be sleeping comfortably regardless of what seat I get

people are poor
The American airline industry is an utter joke. Nearly every country with a major airline does it better than us.
Not really, saftey regulations in the U.S are better than most other nations and could of prevented many of the incidents that have occurred internationally in the last decade or so if they were adopted by many other countries including some european ones.
People want a flying bus that takes them A to B in the U.S for cheap. Flying is a fact of life here because we're so big but mediocre customer service comes with it if you don't want to pay. Incompetence if the kind of shit you're going to get a lot of times because the airline won't invest in its employees and services.
As for the lost dog this happens almost everyday with some piece of freight, this is only news because of the United incident where the dude got dragged off the airplane.
At least still better than Air Koryo
Sounds like the start of a kids movie.
Now the dog has to cross half the country, making friends along the way, to reunite with his owner right?
The only thing the poor guy has is his bitches. Like another user said, why even fly United?

Because if you fly divided it means your plane broke up and your now getting free sky diving lessons.
When I was six and moving back to Finland my two cats got loaded onto a plane that went to Spain instead. They were being loaded onto a plane headed to Brazil when some heroic worker managed to find them just in time. This situation really sucks, I hope he gets his dog back.

Poor kitties, I hope they made it back to you okay. Flights are pretty traumatic for some animals anyway, can't imagine what it must've been like for them. :frown:
