Ladies and gents, it is time the film and music sections rejoice as we are now a section that was meant to be.
To celebrate this event, I give you the film soundtrack thread which inspires and boosts some good shit while watching some dude driving or some guy walking down the street. These musics give feeling and motion and even make a film what they is.

Never ceases to give me chills
David Julyan was great on the early Nolan films. I love chill atmospheric stuff like this. i'm still sad they stopped working together and Nolan instead went with Hans Zimmer but whatever

The Lord of the Rings has the greatest film soundtrack of all time. Matched only by probably Star Wars.
Stranger Things counts.

Absolutely love Cliff Martinez' work.
A personal favorite of mine from Escape From New York. John Carpenter never fails to impress with his soundtracks.

I picked up the Drive vinyl this week and I'm listening to it right now. I've actually only seen the movie all the way through once and the score is waaaaaay more ambient than I remember. (might have to put it on next time I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.)
How about some great uses of classical music...
Kubrick uses this piece during the card game in Barry Lyndon:

One of my favorite pieces of all time, this plays as they're driving past Manchester in 28 Days Later:

He created a synth version of Debussy's The Sunken Cathedral for the glider scene, which is just the perfect metaphor when you've got shots like this:

As much as people hate it, David Lynch's Dune also had a really great soundtrack by Toto.
