UPDATE:It is estimated that 37 people were injured, none in critical condition. No fatalities.
My family comes from Shiraz. As awful as this is, I'm just glad it is a gas pipe bursting and not the beginning of terror attacks in Iran. My grandparents live there but I'm fairly certain that they do not live close to that mall.
Called up family and friends there. Thankfully, they were totally fine.
Super shitty situation. Hope there's no fatalities.
So I see it's said to be a pipe explosion. How common is terrorism in Iran?

its not terrorist related.

There's some conflict within the country, but in general, Iran seems to effectively deal with terrorism quite well. The only real trouble brews up in Balochistan, where there's quite a bit of an insurgency problem with Salafist rebels (i.e. al-Jundullah). Because of Iran's tendency to favor inclusion, there seems to be little resistance in the other parts of the nation, with government officials ranging from Shi'ites to Zoroastrians and Christians (hell, there's even a permanent reserved seat for a Jewish MP in the Irani Constitution).
What's the deal with that one car on the thing?

looks like the lot next to the complex could be a dealership or mechanic or something along those lines.
