Jeff Goldblum is returning to the land of dinosaurs. The actor, who co-starred in 1993's Jurassic Park and 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will appear in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s next Jurassic World film.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/jeff-goldblum-joins-jurassic-world-sequel-997569
Part of me is thinking "oh great, fan service" but the other part of me is thinking "oh great, fan service" but without the sarcasm.
Oh my god yes. That's all I ever wanted from another Jurassic park movie. But hasn't this been filming for awhile?? So I guess this means it's just a minor appearance. O well better than nothing I guess.
yeah because jeff goldblum was in jurassic park II and it sure turned out swell!
Jurassic Park II wasn't so bad when you take 3 into consideration
Ian Malcolm returns, please get Sam Neill and Laura Dern back
yeah because jeff goldblum was in jurassic park II and it sure turned out swell!
I don't care I still love Jeff Goldblum
Jurassic Park II wasn't so bad when you take 3 into consideration
they were pretty equally bad but I liked III slightly more than II since it didn't have this
Jeff and B.D. Wong in the same Jurassic movie will bring out the huger inner Dinosaur nerd in me. I loved Ian Malcolm's character in JP, I hope they reprise his role in some what, or write him to act similar to Ian if they don't bring Ian back. And Henry Wu becoming a bit of a baddie in JW makes me happy too, I wanted more of his character from the JP franchise.
yeah because jeff goldblum was in jurassic park II and it sure turned out swell!
The Lost World was pretty meh, yeah, but it wasn't horrible. It had some pretty odd scenes, but it has some of my favorite moments too. Especially when the T-Rex is set loose in San Diego, one of my favorite moments in any film ever. It was so badass to me as a kid to see that Rex ruin San Diego.
Jeff Goldblum was willing to sacrifice his career for Jurassic Park, he belongs in it forever.
Jurassic Park II wasn't so bad when you take 3 into consideration
jurassic park ii was sorta really bad, iii was more like simply being a boring movie in comparison

I always thought that was Bob Saget.

Does this mean we will see more Mercedes M class trucks flying off cliffs? Or will they use the new X Class?
What I really want is for Sam Neil to come back so we could have a confirmed fan theory that the kid in the beginning of the first film is a young Chris Pratt.
That kid was a butthole though, Pratt isn't a butthole. >:(
By the way: It's directed by horror director J.A. Bayona, so you can guarantee that it's going to be very suspenseful, compared to JWs direction. He already announced that JW2 will be more scarier und much darker and will make more use of practical effects this time. Bad news is that it's still written by Trevorrow and Conelly who were also responsible for the JW script.
not even JEFF can beat the original jeff goldblum also whats the canontoity of these movies now-a-days? future past? how is goldblum rejoining the universe?
That kid was a butthole though, Pratt isn't a butthole. >:(
That's right, Sam Neil set him straight.
and will make more use of practical effects this time.
First Jeff is coming back, now this Maybe the franchise is taking an upswing
Hollywood, ahh, finds a way.

Do we really need another Jurassic park movie, the idea itself can't really weather more than one failed park before getting stale and they really aren't adding anything new to the formula.

The idea won't revolve around a park anymore but [sp]according to some snippets from the script and ideas by writer Trevorrow, it will be about the code to create dinosaurs becoming open source. Dinosaurs get created all over the world. Some ideas involved having them living in co-existence with the people. Herbivore mostly of course. And of course it will also go a bit into the weaponization for the military. But more is currently unclear.[/sp]
Jurassic Park II wasn't so bad when you take 3 into consideration
Hey! Those films were good while their lore at times can seem a bit confusing especially the giant bird cage. They've got redeeming things about them while Jurassic world has none of that.
The problem with the JP movies at this point is that they can only exist in a universe with the most gullible, naive retards of a population. Even ignoring the San Diego rampage from the second movie, we have a dinosaur theme park that went completely tits-up, which resulted in tons of deaths. Why would anyone mess with dinosaurs after that, besides having the ego to think you can control them, which we already did in JW, but also doesn't make for a remotely interesting plot.
yet none of these movies will hold up to spielberg's own creation.
