From https://www.facebook.com/rvpetrel/ They found the Yamashiro a few days ago (previous thread at https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1587046 ), this is the sister ship sunk in the same battle.
This image of Fuso is from the ROV navigation computer showing the ROV at the very stern of the ship. We have accounted for the entire length of the ship but it is upside down. The pagoda is 60 to 70 meters away from the ship and not in this image.
[t]https://horobox.co.uk/u/aubnC.png[/t]
All 4 propellers and rudders are intact and visible. This propeller is 3.5 meters in diameter.
[t]https://horobox.co.uk/u/mVvyBy.jpg[/t]
The rangefinder was the highest point of the ship. It was 50 meters above the keel.
[t]https://horobox.co.uk/u/KzY4PB.jpg[/t][t]https://horobox.co.uk/u/tpFWi4.jpg[/t]
Wonder how deep they are and if they can still find the battle damage that sent them to the bottom in the first place.
Depth is in the picture, 187 feet. It is considered a shallow water wreck and it's the reason they're in a bad condition with marine life and deterioration. Compared to the Indianapolis wreck which is in pristine condition with intact paint and writing at the bottom of the deep ocean. [editline]1st December 2017[/editline] Feet or meters, not sure Edit: It's meters.

Fuso was torpedoed, and as a result of progressive flooding, upended and capsized within forty minutes." You can go deeper (someone set the record at 900ft I think) but it becomes extremely dangerous
