[B][U]Premise[/U][/B]
Created by Bruno Heller, Gotham tells the story of the early years of Detective James Gordon on the Gotham City Police force. Described as “operatic soap with a larger than life quality," the show will also include the origin stories of various other Batfamily characters, including the Penguin, the Riddler and Catwoman, and a young Bruce Wayne as a series regular, with the series ending with him finally donning the cowl for the first time. The series is expected to go into production in March, and is set to premier in Fall 2014.

It's nice to see Sean Pertwee finally getting known for his work and not being "the son of Doctor Who". Though I wish he wasn't typecast as 'tough-as-nails' so much.

Reminds me of when the Joker Diaries did an episode which had the Penguin in a voice call and he sounded like Phillip Seymour Hoffman, yet that voice did sound like something which would come out the mouth of this Penguin too.
