here's something I've always wondered for a while that non of my legends books ever really elaborated, what ARE those markings that appear on the twilek's head....tail things? are they tattoos? slave markings?

I've been thinking about Rogue One a bit more: [sp]I think a fan edit where some of the opening scenes are reordered and the mind squid scene is removed would solve a lot of the pacing issues with the movie and bring my rating up of it.[/sp] That is: [sp] 1. Opening scene before title 2. Recieves pilot info 3. Pilot getting captured 4. Pilot interrogated by Saw, then lead off 5. Jyn in prison 6. Jyn being transported And then continued from there[/sp] Honestly [sp]I think it would fix a lot.[/sp]

I went to see rogue one again today. There was this little kid in the theatre a few rows back and literally every time [sp]a character died[/sp] She would turn to her parents and ask [sp] "ARE THEY DEAD?!!!!!! " in this really shocked voice.[/SP] Towards the end of the film, my girlfriend and I could barely hold back bursting out laughing [sp] because of how frequently she was asking.[/sp]

I think that mostly comes from how most of it is action; there's lots of scenes of prolonged silence or entire episodes where there's barely any dialogue. At least it made Grievous a badass, though.

The film was originally the first four episodes of the show, from what I read in "How Star Wars Conquered The Universe". It would have made more sense if it was just the opening slew of episodes for the series, it would have been more forgiveable if it was awkward then.
