black paint is an excellent stain remover.
press a towel or something onto the stain, and press really hard. Maybe put some salt on it, I think that helps. I think Google would be very good for this...
If the carpet is white, use bleach.

here is my time-tested method which i will kindly tell you for free:
there is no way of getting it totally out, so you might as well spill it all over, get a nice tye-dye effect going on
Wank on it, it really works, and it makes it smell even better!
Go to the store. In the cleaing aisle there are good stuff for carpets.
Cold Water, Vinegar, Retail Carpet Cleaner, and a steam vacuum.
if it's a bright white carpet, then bleaching is the way to go.
Cut out the stain and patch it with another piece of carpet (which you cut out, where the hole cannot be seen)
Jizz on the carpet.

It's either lemon juice or white vinegar, or both. Mixed with warm water.
Put a cloth in the mix and squeeze the extra out, then rub softly until the stain is gone.
