Make sure your mic in-game is set to use whatever mic you have plugged in. If it is, use windows' built-in "set up a microphone" tool (I think this is in Windows 8 but I'm not entirely sure). If [I]that[/I] doesn't work, I'd head on over to Tech Support, they're dedicated to this sort of thing and I've literally only seen three of them post anywhere else.
