My radio is weird.
It's got an OK signal. 80% of the time it works clearly. When it's static, it's proberly because of the heat/rain. BUT!
Sometimes I walk past the radio and if it's dead set static a bit of the signal comes through when I'm close, OR it does the opposite when I get close to it. (Clear signal goes dead/weakens when I am near)
When a plane or helicopter is flying around North-West of my room (direction from my radio where the window is) I can hear the signal weakening, with the helicopters propeller spinning, the static is like the propeller. With planes, it's radio silence, just static.
So what's up with my radio, is it just weird or is this normal?
Note: When I walk near the radio, I'm not inbetween the window and the antenna, I'm usually next to the radio, or behind it.
it's aliens coming to abduct you and your family
run while you can
Do you have any mechanical parts on you? Pacemaker, head plate, etc?
Nope.
i've experienced radio signals becoming both clearer and more distorted when i've walked close to a radio, and i imagine there's a perfectly reasonable explanation, so i don't think it's that weird.
