What are some good games that feature local co-op?
It seems that most games nowadays only have online play and I only have one of each of those, and several friends who like to play with me...
Castle Crashers is pretty fun.
Gang Beasts.
It's still not finished but it is still fucking awesome and very satisfying to play.
LEGO Lord of the Rings is a good game and absolutely hilarious at times. Other LEGO games are hit or miss, some good, some dated, some bad.
Mercenary kings is good fun, quite hard.
Sonic All Stars racing transformed is a pretty great Mario-kart-esque racer. Beat Hazard is fun if you don't mind seizures.
Civ 5, if you got an entire week to play it.
CoD WaW for pc is pretty fun on LAN since you can play multiplayer, the campaign, and zombies. You will need 2 copies of the game, but it is totally worth it, especially on zombies and with mod maps.
Another one that is quite fun on LAN is CoD 2. Me and my dad play that sometimes, and you only need 1 copy.
Dead Island is fun too. So is Left 4 Dead if you can manage to get the server set up right. Also, Return to Castle Wolfenstein's multiplayer is a blast on LAN.
Super Mario 3D world is pretty fun and the new Mario Kart is coming out soon and I bet that'll be fun.
Just played Battle Block Theater with my cousin and I can guarantee that it is a good time. Stamper's voice acting is hilarious.
