I'm a very shy natured person in general. And over the past four or five months I've grown out of that stage a lot thanks to you all who helped in previous threads and some friends in real life.
The only thing I have problems with now is getting girl's numbers and such. It's not the fact that I'm scared to do it, it's more of just the fact that I don't know how to ask.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Ask them if they have any plans to go out, if not, ask them if they'd be interested in seeing you. If they're interested exchange numbers. I think you're more likely to come off as creepy if you just ask for their number upfront.
Ya just be friendly and nice and strike up a conversation and see if she would like to hang out sometime.

here's 2 good tips involving facebook (it's fucking everywhere nowadays, so it can also be a good tool for dating)
talk to them, either at a party or some other normal place where you talk to people, find something you both like, talk and shit, she is going to add you on facebook if she's the least interested, and chat with here there until one of you have to go, and ask for her number, meet up and do stuff.
if you never meet people:
poke random chicks in your town on facebook until they ask you why, then start to talk with them and ask for their number, meet up and do stuff.
Also, you can always check relationship status and shit like that there aswell, so you won't fuck up

This actually works. People who think it's lame to use facebook obviously doesn't realise that all chicks in the world use it every day. The above have worked, both of them, on multiple occasions.

recently i've taken up the method of just messaging them on facebook casually, just saying hello. usually they reply and we'll have a decent conversation. before i leave, or she leaves, i'll just be like 'oh, and you should text me.' nine times out of ten they'll be like 'oh okay i'll do that ;)'

Before i got my girlfriend's phone number i got her steam username.
It depends how well you knw them, if your friends, ask to meet or go to an event together, and asw them phone-number so you can "call if somthing comes up".
Dont ask for theirs. Give them yours, shows them you know what you want
