what are some good 7" Tablet's that I should be looking for (nothing past $260) Amazon.ca ( a.k.a I live in Canada) won't sell Kindle Fire HD in Canada because otherwise I would have most likey bought that one
nexus 7 simples [editline]28th October 2012[/editline] If you need expandable storage get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7"
Nexus 7.
Nexus 7
mini ipad IS NOT a good 7 inch tablet, its specs are WORSE than every other 7 inch tablet on the market, and for those crappy specs, you pay an aditional $100+ (depending on the level of crappy) as it is, the nexus 7 is a great solid tablet thats garenteed to get updated, the samsung tab 7 is not bad either, both will run you 225-250$ and are solid tablets

With the iPad mini you know you're going to get a good product out of the box. Also the specs aren't bad, the GPU in the A5 (used by the iPad) out performs the Tegra 3's GPU shown here whilst the Tegra 3's CPU pulls ahead. OP, ask in the Hardware forums and such, fast threads really isn't the place to be for topics like this if you want good unbiased information.
The iPad mini is out of the OP's budget... If he wants a tablet under $260, it is going to have to be android. In that price range you're looking at either the Nexus 7 or Galaxy Tab 2. Kindle Fire HD is a possibility but the Amazon skin ruins the Android experience.
The Nexus 7 is perhaps your best choice then, just remember that the build quality isn't amazing and you may have to return it as many users are reporting screen defects. I would back the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 / Galaxy Tab Plus but Samsung can be a bit sketchy on devices that aren't flagship when it comes to updates.
None
Nexus 7 is great.
Nook
Amazon.Ca won't sell Kindle Fire HD over here
Nook
Poor selection in software for the Nook Tablet, practically good for books.
Ya the nook is only good for books, and browsing, and I would say video but the latest nooks have 90% of their storage space partitioned so while u buy 16 gigs u personaly can only use 1 gig, but it has expandable memory, up to 64 so that's a trade off, Seems like amazon is shafting Canadians with no real date set at all for the new fire hd, so you could go with barns n noble if you want a good little tablet for books, movies, and internet browsing, and they just are launching their new Microsoft video service so their content is gonna grow
I'd say Nexus 7 cause of your budget. Real good tablet for it's size and price.
I heard the Nexus 7 is good
