(Note to mods: Sorry if it's the wrong post Icon, I'm not too sure what it should be) Okay this might seem a bit silly or like I'm just making shit up but someone I sometimes leaves these little codes around and I keep asking him what they are and he says only he knows what they mean. I figure I'd use you guys smartness to help me figure out what they might mean. Most recent: 3.009.0.00.0167 And here are a few past ones in order of oldest to newest (incase they make something up in order): 10.00.0060 (oldest) 020.66. .002.2.022 .00.11.081.00 00.22.33.008 3.009.0.00.0167 (most recent) I know this seems like made up bullshit but I assure you it's legit. Well, according to him it's codes only he knows (but he might just think I'm not smart enough to decode them). My first thought was Hexadecimal codes but I don't know how they worked. Go!
Or, He's just fucking with you by jolting down a bunch of random numbers.
no
Or, He's just fucking with you by jolting down a bunch of random numbers.
He might be I thought about that but he says the codes mean something to him. And he's not a personal friend, more than just myself can see the codes he posts (he does them in youtube descriptions at the end). It's frustrating not knowing if it's real messages or not. [editline]11:04PM[/editline] me (10:59:31 PM): does it really mean something or is it just random?> him (10:59:46 PM): it means something to me. me (10:59:59 PM): arghh how though it's just numbers and dots lol him (11:03:25 PM): well... I'll only tell you this and never again will i speak of it.. him (11:03:39 PM): which of those series of numbers matter?
The only thing I can think of is that the numbers represents entire words, while the periods would be spaces. But that wouldn't explain why some of the messages start of with a period.

Either your friend is bullshitting you, or he's actually pretty clever. I hope this turns into one of those hugeass threads which normally happens when someone mentions codes.
Well if anyone wants to have a bash feel free.. im completely boggled by it.. I trust him that it's legit because he say's it's only codes he knows.. but he must have done it in a conventional way he doesn't seem smart enough to come up with a whole code system for himself.. he doesn't put the codes out in public for nothing.
It sounds like he's full of shit, he's just playing with you gullible mind and trying to appear like he's... mysterious or something.
3.009.0.00.0167 it's a youtube account.... that one is anyway
Definitely not hexadecimal. hexadecimal uses numbers 0-9, and letters A-F to represent 10-15.
Why are 4 and 5 not mentioned in any?
Given how many zeroes there are, I would assume that their meaning is decided by the quantity of them, or their position compared to the other numbers/periods. Hell, it's something at least.
