I'm going to Barcelona after the Easter Holiday, Anyone with tips of what to see or do?

My Art class is going to Barcelona for ten days as a studytrip. We're gonna see all kinds of museums and architecture, so there's no need to suggest things like that. We're gonna have the evenings for ourselves, so is there anything really awesome I should go do or see?

Take the train south to a town/city named Salou (I think it's like an one hour ride there), they have a themepark called Port Aventura. It has a rollercoaster with 8 loops in it. It's mad fun, totaly worth the visit if you have the money.

Don't go into a spanish McDonalds or anything, try and see how much authentic spanish cuisine you can try out.

I went there for the day once. I got a taxi straight to Camp Nou, so if you like football then definitely take one of the tours there.
Then I just got the train down to the city centre or somewhere, looked around shops and random places, and went to the Hard Rock Cafe.
