Hey there, I have some free time now that summer classes are over and I figured I'd answer some questions for people that were interested in engineering! Mind you I'm only a Junior right now, but I have done some serious engineering work due to Formula SAE, so go ahead and ask anything that you would like to know!
Is your life fulfilled? If you died tomorrow, would you look back and be happy with the mark you left on Earth?
How much of it is practical? Is it all learning from a book/orally?
Does this serious engineering include making sentries?
How many pegs are needed to hang a cask of wine on a clothes line?
Do engineers stand around and hammer their wrenches into their hands constantly when idle?
Do you move gear up?
My life would be fulfilled because I'm a BAMF! Everything they teach in Engineering classes is very useful! They don't teach you random bullshit to waste time. Most things are learned from the book and from lectures, but there are labs where you get to "visualize" some of the math that you do. Serious engineering does include making sentries! And you only need 1 peg to hang a cask of wine on a clothes line if the peg is big enough. And actually...I have found myself to randomly play with tools when I'm bored/idle. And I have not done much work with gears...YET!
Do you have a super intelligent engineer grandfather? Do you have a wrench made of Australium? Do you have a robot arm? Do you hate spies? Do you get tired of scouts needing a dispenser? And the most important of all: Do you kill people by bashing a banjo through their head?
Are you from Texas? [editline]07:44PM[/editline]
Do you have a super intelligent engineer grandfather? Do you have a wrench made of Australium? Do you have a robot arm? Can you put a dispenser right here?
Is that thing on autopilot?
How many times per day do people request dispensers?
How much of it is practical? using fluid dynamics, invent me a sink that you can also piss in and doesn't splash back.
Can you make an electronic penis for me?
