I don't wanna sound dumb, but anyone have tips on making sure your cash register has the correct amount of money in it?
I've never stolen from my cash register. Even if I wanted to, I know it would be pointless since the number crunchers would just find out.
Since then, I've been extra careful when handling the money. Yet my cash register came out short again, albeit not as much. I gave my personal money to my manager to make up for the short cash register and I am five dollars poorer now. But I can't imagine carrying extra of my hard earned cash with me every day, just to make up for a short cash register. That's unreasonable and unsustainable.
No clue... I was a fast food cashier once... It was absolutely terrible. And one time I was $20 short which I guess is really bad or something who knows, I stopped going there.
