There are at least three episodes with ageing diseases.
There's an episode were everyone turns into animals.
That one sort of reminds me of the one with the half-white-half-black people.
There's one episode where someone downloads himself into Data.
I specifically remember this one star trek episode when everyone turns into a half-human half-animal monster.
I don't get why people believe stuff like this in the first place. No one can really tell what's going to happen, especially that far into the future.
The only thing we can base the theories we make are from out past mistakes or events, and place them into a timeline with all sorts of corresponding variables.
We think we can try and prevent a nuclear war, and that we want "World Peace". But in reality, in order to achieve peace, you need to have every person on earth, to think in the same way that you do. The problem stems from us telling each other, that every person is unique, and that they are their own being. If that's true, then achieving "World Peace" would be impossible. How many people want the same exact thing? Hell we argue about Mac vs. Windows, Paper or Plastic, etc.
The human race is designed to be self-sufficient, and what we're doing is giving machines all the work we should be doing. We should be learn how to make the work easier for us, but while still maintaining the responsibility. The more bombs we build, the more money we spend on war, essentially hiders what we all try to believe in.
The ignorant thing we're doing, is that we're preaching our values and morals, but as soon as the people turn their backs, we break them.
If this lady honestly believes that what she said what happen, then let her. It's up to her to decide what she thinks. I, for one, don't believe it, but that's my opinion, and what she said are opinions. We never really know what's going to happen, because we live in a perpetual stupor.
What I don't understand is how she became so popular
I think the worst job in the world would be psychics. Sure, you get paid for making up bullshit, but I couldn't be a psychic because people actually believe that crap, I just couldn't do that. Now you may think "they deserve it for believing it" but it also hurts others around them, like their sensible kids.
