Can we get the art section of the forums back

The Creative work thread has been staying afloat in GD since the boards were simplified, but a separate section would be ideal because we lost a lot of the community in that transition. There also used to be a lot of synergy between the Creationism Corner and the Programming section, and removing CC ended that relationship.

It'd be great to have it back. That's all, thank you!

because garry saw that there were really only a couple threads in those sections that were really active, and thought that they'd just work as megathreads in GD

it'd be decent and you'd get some actual space to make threads dedicated to different stuff rather than cloggin' up other sections; i think just a few subforums like a hidden one for DD, one for creative, one for music and another for general hobbies would be ideal but it'd be nice to have somethin there either way

I never saw a reason for it to go. At least not for CC.

The sections such as ms paint and photoshop contests were sort of dead (and tbh at that point nobody in photoshop contests could read the goddamn directions)

I'd rather have 1 subforum for a few active threads than have everything shoved into GD while anything that could go into a "Photoshop This!" thread gets forced into the LMAO Pics thread and everyone hates it when every other post someone photoshopping a new version of an image.

I think one section for CC would work well enough, with the threads being the Creative Work, Photoshop contests, MS paint, etc rather than giving each of those their own sections and threads.
