I was looking through generic industrial pictures when I came across this one:

It looks very similar to the [url=http://combineoverwiki.net/images/e/e6/Garage_train.jpg]Combine Factory[/url] from old HL2, which is mainly why it caught my eye. I thought that building was just a work of fiction, so now I'm just wondering what exactly the real-life equivalent actually does.
It looks like a Coal powerplant or Cement production facility. It could be either one but reverse searching brings up Coal.
It's a cloud factory. They make clouds.
Where I live there are a lot of those.
There used to be a Foundry, but due to the pollution (There used to be a lot of Acid Rains and such) it got closed and turned into a park

I live close enough to the industrial part of detroit, and that's looking more like a coal powerplant than anything else.
Definitely looks like a blast furnace at a foundry.
