$70 a month..could be worse
At home it's a 60/60 connection through fiber with a speed guarantee. Difference to most other companies in this country is that it isn't a theoretical maximum, it's the least speed we should ever reach. However, on the line I'm currently connected to, speedof.me reports speeds of 8Mbps/1.8Mbps. One of my friends is paying $110 a month and gets 0.9 down and 0.3 up, in a suburb 16km from the city.

Australian Internet everyone
At least they are replacing the main cables with Fibre so it might be worth going to bt where I am, although I don't live in the village or along the main road so I will still be on the copper wire
The answer to this question is always never fast enough.
Its so fast, when youtube plays, I missed 3 videos
Filipino internet. Yay.
Local news says BT Infinity (fibre) cabinets have been popping up around the village, so there's hope. [editline]30th June 2014[/editline] Wow I feel sorry for you guys
This is what I have now. I suspect my sister is downloading, since the upload is higher than the download. But it's a 60mbit line, and I can download from steam with 6.2mb/sec so.. Soon I'll be on a 200mbit line though, for only €54, or $72 dollars a month. Includes Digital TV, radio and some other things noone cares about.

Is that in any way useful in your experience? Don't you like max out every single servers upload capacity?

What the fuck. How..
What the fuck. How..
Well, a gigabit connection. They offer these here as well but i don't really see the use in it (unless of course you want to host a lot of servers and whatnot)
sadly i never get these speeds on something, like, steam. the most ive seen it cap at is ~15 mb/s
This is one of those threads that likes to pop up every month or so, and they always end with a lot of people with fine internet and a few people with crazy good or absolutely shitty internet. It's never anything new :v:
