Posting in here due to lack of replies in CC.
Recently my house has had a large extension and I am getting one of the rooms as my new bedroom, which is great as I currently share a bedroom with my brother. As it is going to be completed within a week, I would like to think of how I am going to style this room. Since it is a blank slate to start from it would be nice to make it into a very classy/awesome pad, however I have next to no inspiration for making this room look great.
Ideas regarding artwork, layout, colour scheme, furniture, style, etc would be useful. I'm looking to have a fairly modern/minimalistic design that is light and spacious.
My decorating budget is £500 or lower.
