• Dry erase board not erasing
    19 replies, posted
Hello. I got a huge whiteboard at a rummage sale yesterday. There were a whole bunch of stains and such, but I thought that I could live with them. Today, I finally got some markers. I test it out, and my new (dry erase) markers won't erase. Any ideas on what I should do?
Those were probably permanent markers.
Their not stains... But really try soap, water and a cloth
The stained one's could've been, but they ones I just bought clearly say "Dry Erase" on them. [editline]10:31PM[/editline] The problem is that my new dry erase markers won't erase.
Your board has been borked.
Windex or soap
It's obvious that you actually bought a Stain Board. Any fool can see that :colbert:
Well obviously they lie.
well the dry erase markers either suck, or the board sucks, which is probably why they were selling it.
Why the hell would you buy a second hand whiteboard when new ones aren't that expensive to start with :/
My brother got a wall-sized whiteboard at home depot for like $20.
To save even more money? Impulse buy?
[QUOTE=bregitta;21708590]Why the hell would you buy a second hand whiteboard when new ones aren't that expensive to start with :/[/QUOTE] Because $5 was a bit cheaper that [url='http://www.officemax.com/office-supplies/boards/dry-erase-boards?refineName=Size&refineValue=8%27+x+4%27&view=list&history=swwtqs01|categoryId~10003^categoryName~office-supplies^parentCategoryID~category_root^prodPage~25^region~1@vtuep99v|categoryId~490^categoryName~boards^parentCategoryID~cat_10003^prodPage~25^region~1^refine~1@hnjaknyf|prodPage~15^refine~1^region~1^categoryName~Dry+Erase+Boards^categoryId~745^parentCategoryID~cat_490']these[/url].
Only 399.99 Get a job. But you could get one from Canadian Tire or Homdepot for 10-30$
Windex with or without WD40 applied beforehand. It'll help make it come off easier.
I'll check their prices. This board is 8'x4'. And next time, remind me that it's not Hoe Depot. [editline]10:45PM[/editline] A quick search at Home Depot's site only gets me a dry erase fridge which actually might be more useful.
i don't think you can find it on the website because it is under the category of materials. basically you go look in the plywood etc section for it.
