I found myself at a party playing chess and I lost then I won. I got to thinking what's the point? If you win you feel satisfaction possibly or you make money. I was thinking about life and video games... you win a game usually it's just oh cool the story is over. In life you try to find happiness and support yourself. making money and doing things that make you happy. ultimately what is the point of either, what is the end result of success on a long term scale?

You do whatever the hell you want to do, that's all there is to it.
When you're dead everything you've ever done will no longer matter, even if it is to use of others, because eventually those will die as well and somewhere down the line whatever little mark you put on life will be gone, there will be no traces left of anything you did in your lifetime, and eventually humanity itself will be gone, be that in the next 200 years or billions of years after our own sun stops burning.
The only meaning anyone can put into life is to enjoy it, one way or another.
