Next month I'm going to america for a week and I'm wondering what should I check out while I'm there. It might be a stupid question, but I really want to see as much as possible. Any suggestions?
I will give you a big ass list when I get home of all the cool places I've been around Vegas. Like I told someone else, it depends on the experience you are looking for.
The Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas. Every night from 9 PM to 1 AM, they play music videos on a massive quarter-mile long video screen suspended above the street. My dad's company produces all of the music videos they play on it, you can see some of my work(and hear my voice) in several of them! [t]http://i.ytimg.com/vi/dwewjWrNjPE/maxresdefault.jpg[/t]
The Fremont Experience also has tons of local bars and ziplining. I usually go for food because it's DELICIOUS and I can't drink yet. The strip has way too much shit to list, but I can list some stuff to do: - LOOK AT EVERYTHING. - High Roller - M&M World - World of Coca-Cola (You can try all the Coca-Cola products from around the world) - The Roller Coaster at New York New York - Shark Reef Really though, all of this stuff is RIGHT next to each other on the strip, so you can walk from one side to the other and see some cool stuff, like the Winery at MGM. Well that depends on which way you swing.

As someone who has lived in California his whole life, In n Out is actually not that great, and Steak n' Shake is way better.
I was in LA two weeks ago for a Horror Convention. But I did check out a few other spots. Frank & Son Show is a massive warehouse for any kind of collectible you can think of. Everything from vintage toys, anime merchandise to baseball cards & hard to find games. There was even a guy there selling vintage WWII stuff (albeit pricey) so if you're a collector of anything. Frank and son is worth a shot. Universal Citywalk Hollywood is a pretty happening place, especially at night. Tons of restaurants, shops & even a movie theater. There's also a large open area with a stage with a DJ performing nightly. It's right next to Universal Studios but you don't need to buy a ticket to get in. There's a Mexican Restaurant called Comancho's Cantina that I recommend. There can be a bit of a wait but they still seat pretty quickly. Phillipes is an old school style eatery that's been around since 1908. Credited with creating the French Dip Sandwich (which I had there and holy shit was it good). Service is fast and they serve huge slices of Apple Pie. I was in heaven.
Phillipes is the best sandwich on the planet. Every time I'm able I eat there, it's just goddamn amazing.
Well, prostitution in legal in Vegas, soooo...
In n Out, one of the best burger places in the US that ive found.. Also check out Griffith Observatory in LA, if your into space stuff. Lot of cool shit inside, and you can see the hollywood sign across the hills.
If you're into music, I'd suggest checking out Amoeba Music.
I will take 1200 € with me (1270$). That's probably enough to see a lot of stuff?
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Venice beach and Santa Monica yet.
I will take 1200 € with me (1270$). That's probably enough to see a lot of stuff?
I routinely walk the strip just to look at things. If I bring at minimum $50, I should be able to eat wherever and keep most of my money. Quite a few of the local artists play there, and when it gets late, I'm sure you could view some of the locals getting their night started. It's quite interesting. Also, when i was there, they had some TV show filming. As for the rest of Santa Monica, the pier was quite interesting, but extremely busy.

Any shopping centre?
