I do. Always when I have a fever I see celebrities, unicorns and other fucked up shit.
The hallucination is caused by the brain producing a psychedelic drug, which by some is released in larger amounts while having a fever. It's called Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), I believe. DMT is naturally produced in small amounts in the brain and other tissues of humans and other mammals.[30] Some believe it plays a role in mediating the visual effects of natural dreaming, and also near-death experiences, religious visions and other mystical states.[31] A biochemical mechanism for this was proposed by the medical researcher J. C. Callaway, who suggested in 1988 that DMT might be connected with visual dream phenomena, where brain DMT levels are periodically elevated to induce visual dreaming and possibly other natural states of mind.[32] A new hypothesis proposed is that in addition to being involved in altered states of consciousness, endogenous DMT may be involved in the creation of normal waking states of consciousness. It is proposed that DMT and other endogenous hallucinogens mediate their neurological abilities by acting as neurotransmitters at a sub class of the trace amine receptors; a group of receptors found in the CNS where DMT and other hallucinogens have been shown to have activity. Wallach further proposes that in this way waking consciousness can be thought of as a controlled psychedelic experience. It is when the control of these systems becomes loosened and their behavior no longer correlates with the external world that the altered states arise.[33]

I don't think so. But I remember when I was younger I saw/felt strange things. It was fucking nasty. But it wasn't like hallucinations. More like.. damnit, can't even describe it. Like everything goes from thin to bold and stuff. Annoying sounds I guess.
So basically they seemed extremely vivid, as in more real than usual? Interesting. Although I don't think i've ever had a fever, only fevered dreams of strangeness.
Yeah and I wasn't even sure how long it lasted. I just laid in bed watching the show go on and on, not even sure what was going on. It was weird. I wanna feel it again!
Holy shit. I didn't even realize it until now. I was piloting a mining vessel in the asteroid belt along with a few dozen other ships. We were all in a convoy moving toward some asteroid that had a large amount of iron or something in it. True story. Trippy as fuck.
Happens from time to time, it depends.
No.
Never happened to me.... Well i don't think i've ever been that sick. Lucky me i guess :(
I told the WuTangKlan to get out of the way of my TV once when I was watching HSN.
i dont have halluciantions when i have fever :(
Back when i was yonger i always used to get the same annoying dream/nightmare when i had fever.

never have
One time when I was little I did. I was asleep before I had it. Then I woke up, but I didn't notice, because it seemed like a dream, yet it seemed all too real. There were some, I dunno, creatures or something, I don't really remember what they looked like. All I knew was whatever they were, they wanted to get me, and all I could do was cry and scream in my bed while my father tried to comfort me.
Only had it happen once. Shit was messed up. Don't quite remember what I saw/heared, but it was messed up.
Never. Only when I dream, obviously.
Sometimes, I see moving patterns and shit. Once when I was 9 I had "blood splash in my face" for a split second, but it was a hallucination and scared the crap out of me :v:
No, never.
Nope :(
No : /
I don't get the fever, sound fun though.
I never had a hallucination, so no.
I hallucinate bout hot girls fuckin my dick so good srs
OP is smoking shrooms again
I have these random hallucinations when i'm sick. One time, i was watching tv, then somehow the tv screened some guy scratching his neck for 5 seconds, i don't think it was real, because nothing made sence. [editline]02:12PM[/editline] Few things do make sence nowadays though:buddy:

Obviously this was a hallucination...
If my fever's high then, yes. Minor ones. I usually hear strange sounds as well.
Yeah, but not like seeing stuff dancing around my room, just more like feelings. Really weird feelings. Like feeling sad because I can't move my elf army to the other side of the house :frown:
last time i had a fever i woke up in the middle of the night to take a piss, and when i came out of the bathroom the whole house was upside down. i fucking freaked out hard and started running down the halls making noise and trying to warn everyone. when i heard my brother getting out of his bed i got really guilty because I made the house upside down and i thought he'd get pissed at me so I ran into my room and started flipping every bit of furniture in my room. after i was satisfied i went into my closet and started crawling across the wall so i can be upside down with the rest of room. i had no idea what i was doing but i actually thought the house flipped and it was my fault. eventually i knocked myself out trying to stand on the roof upside down and my mum woke me up an hour later. true story. [editline]10:48PM[/editline] I thought everyone hallucinated when they have a fever. :frog:
No, I did have the urge to crap a lot one time. I took my super awesome dump (It felt like I was shitting out my organs.) walked down the stairs and fainted. Ooh and my mom had the honour to flush the toilet. By her words: "JEZUS CHRIST I CAN SMELL YOUR SHIT DOWN STAIRS!!!".
