Title says it all. You write how you started Facepunch or an experience in Facepunch you had.
For Example:
I joined Facepunch on January just to see some mods that I couldn't see since I was a guest. After 3 or 5 months later, I started reading the News Node and Garrys mod section. I started making threads and posts. After a while I now read all the main forums in facepunch, Valve games forums, Creationism Corner forums and General Game Discussion.
when I was a freshman my friend and I would hang out at our school library, and he showed me Facepunch mostly for lmao pics. I joined shortly afterwards and started lurking the website at home
I joined and was banned after my first thread. I came back because I'm a masochistic fool.
I joined four years ago as a result of Garry's Mod.
Many other people I'm sure will share the same story.

Honestly, as a wee chap I started my grand adventures in the furry subforum. I never even heard of garrysmod until I lurked a bit.
Joined here about a year ago as a result of the GMod addons. Eventually, I guess I just grew to like the content and community in general.
I knew the site was around since 2005
I probably made an account in 2007 but I don't remember.
I joined on September 2010 and didn't use again it until October 2011

Well my story is a old one,Joined because of Garry's mod back then.but stayed for the community.
I'm mainly a lurker but Ive been here since 05 and pretty much everyday I come check some threads.
I dont post a lot cause I dont speak english pretty well and I cant convey my thoughts to words perfectly.
I remember I did a huge Tutorial section on sony vegas when making Gmod videos was the dope.
then It got eclipsed by the source recorder tutorial.

when i got word of a garrys mod i lurked like 05 and then joined 06 but i dont fuck with gmod and custom stuff anymore...i just go on durgs and videos now ;/

Joined up back in '08, hung out in the Gmod section for a while. I've since expanded my horizons. Getting Gold Membership was kinda special, especially back when it was free.
I joined so I could talk about the Half-Life Renaissance addon for Garry's Mod, but I later started branching out around the forum. My first few posts not made in the HLR thread earned me a few dumbs, but so far I haven't managed to get myself banned yet.

I had another account from 2011 and I made really shit posts. I had an epiphany and made a new account with a much less stupid name. I made a few crappy posts in the first two months but then I suddenly got slammed a few times in Fast Anime and realised that being an elitist asshole (with only 100 posts) will only rake in the dumbs.

saw phontomens(goon165) world of tanks videos and saw that he was a member of facepunch. so i decided to join facepunch and got addicted to world of tanks while i was at it
TF2, the end.
I was roped into joining Facepunch by this guy who had some shitty idea to form some shitty clan that acted real shitty, because nobody apparently had any balls to make a post about it. So I did it. Also I'm not friends with that guy anymore. I don't think he aged as appropriately as I did.
Now instead of shitty shittiness I like to think I'm a good poster compared to what I was like 4-5 years ago. Joined for the TF2, stayed for a little bit of everything.
Also Garry changed how to get gold member from 2 years, 2000 posts to 5 years, 100 posts a week before I got Gold Member. Then I won a raffle in the TF2 section and the reward was being boostar'd. Then Garry changed it again to boostar only. I lucked out with that raffle, I guess.
Back when challenges were done though the old Garry's Mod news page, I loved to view them even though I didn't have gmod. Then Garry said he was going to stop that and directed people to facepunch. I made a fool of my self for a few posts , trying to hit it big in the screenshot section before I figured out no one really cared about me. Lurked, tried for gold before Garry changed it to purchase only, explored the forum, tried to start in the art section, and eventually fell in with the halo megathread guys. I love this place, lots of every thing.
Googled about for some Garry's Mod content, seemed to always end up around these parts. I joined because why not, lurked for a while, posted some and lurked some more.
I joined because I figured it was a good place to ask about my problems with Gmod and Counter-Strike I think it was.

But yeah then I stuck around for a little then ended up having to get my fix everyday because I can't go to rehab for addiction to Facepunch
Knew the site since 2010, got really into it in June 2011 (Brohoster drama), then a friend convinced me to make an account in September 2011.
joined for the tf2 section, i think. i don't really remember if i made an account before that but thats where i started posting.
i think i was a generally okay poster most of the time, but i made some pretty dumb decisions.
i'd make an entire thread every time somebody got banned for a reason i thought was dumb, getting me banned myself, then i'd make an appeal thread swearing at the admins for being idiots and get extensions.
also the infamous "I'M 14 AND PROUD" thread. god damn do i feel stupid thinking about that.

I was a dumbshit 14yr old who didn't understand Facepunch very well. But 3 years on I've gotten some help and made some friends. And I think I kinda improved on some of my current skills.

Once upon a time, I saw someone post in a thread on FP, main plan was to harrass that person but it became entirely different and ended up in a webcam chat with a not so bad looking girl. After that point all plans went fuck you and refused to let me execute them.
