I found some really old danish medallion(?) i need your help to identify

So i was out metal detecting in an old field, and i found what appears to be some kind of farmer medallion

Im pretty sure that the text on the front says Aalborg, which is a danish city. Below that it says 1888, it's kinda hard to see in the picture. Theres also something in the top square but it's really rusty
it appears to be hollow so it has probably been attached to something. I have tried to search a lot of differend things in google with no luck.

Do any of you have any ideas what it is or what its purpose could have been?

Theres a name at the bottom, i think it says KROHN

I can't find a reference for the name or date, but with the wreath of wheat surrounding a ram, cow, horse, and pig, I can tell you with certainty that it is most likely an agricultural medal.

Wow! they're pretty much the same except the date, and the missing back. Thanks you for finding that
