What would be some good open source software for making dubstep? Or even some software that I can buy.
get a synthesizer that has the drums;
fruity loops and there's another one i know but i can't remember the name.
I use Ableton Live as a DAW.
The rendering engine of Fruity Loops is not my cup of tea. You just KNOW when it's made in FL Studio.
But use the DAW that you like, not what everyone else likes, there's not one that's the best, but there sure is some that's bad.
Massive is an awesome synthesizer for the Dubstep bass.
cubase + a few house drum samples + a synth with lfo and you are half way there
