• How do you remember your passwords?

I save most of them on LastPass (except for the sensitive/financial shit like PayPal or whatever, I usually write them down).
I mean, it's literally my phone number waitshit
Keepas
I have a password system made up
Mine's a formula -- ensuring that as long as I have the name of the site or service the password is for, I'll have a specific series of letters and numbers -- also affected variables -- to go with it.
Memorized. They're all video game titles.
I use a phrase my brother use to say when we were younger, with a handful of random numbers at the end. Though it's not very useful for passwords that require 15 characters or less :v:
I kinda make my passwords memorable but use a mix of l33t sp33k and acronyms For example: F4C3PUN(H@CC0UN7
Keypass
Damn, didn't work.
Obviously his real password is xX_1337h4xx0r_Xx
On a more serious note I memorize them, maybe write it down on a note somewhere until I memorize it.
I just memorize them, which leads to resetting passwords on old accounts a lot
I just use the same password for everything :downs:
I just use the same password for everything :downs:
is it just "password" by any chance?
I use a personal way to create pretty secure passwords (for only some accounts though, the ones that matter. If it's some shitty game I'll reuse a meh password), it's tough to forget them if you attach the password to something personal. For the ones I use for multiple accounts I just write them down until they're memorized.
Random words in 1337 sp34k One is a password that was used in a rather underrated PS2 game.
tattoo'd to my butt cheeks. If I forget a password I just find a mirror
Memorization. I just have an alphanumeric system I use with a few silly word combinations, makes it easy to come up with different passwords for each site I regularly access.
I just use my username backwards.
I just use my username backwards.
02reyals :v:
I memorize them, after a while typing them out comes down to muscle memory. But I also have them written down somewhere, for when that memory shit doesn't work.
My favorite password is 29 characters long and consists of every randomly-generated password I've ever gotten, mashed together. I tend to just memorize them and every now and then come up with an ungodly monstrosity like that.
I don'r have many and they're all similar and have a number.
Memorize, but I plan to use more different passwords and I am not sure how to go about writing them down. I know there is a program you can use but I forgot which, and I could just write them in a book but I don't know if that is very safe.
I have like five passwords that I've memorized increasing in length depending on how important the thing is. I would use Lastpass to generate them for me but what if I need to login somewhere else? I'd have to like look it up on their website and that's a lot of hassle.
I don't.
I write them down and hide the paper
my own version of correcthorsebatterystaple it's about 3 times as long though [editline]26th August 2015[/editline] that is to say i "memorize" them, mostly because with my memories and experiences it comes naturally
my passwords evolve from old passwords, so i just remember them. for example when making a new password or updating one, i'll add ! to the end or change numbers around.
