what is grammar
You can use either "is" in or "are" for corporations.
All of my dissapointment.
Yay.
I thought DOTA 2 was out already?
I knew it was going to be Dota 2.
what a shitty article wtf
I thought DOTA 2 was out already?
All this years Dota 2 has been in closed beta, only with an invite or buying the Early Access which cost 30 dollars is the only way to play it. The spam of Dota 2 invites is enormous, there are like 1,2 millions of invites on Steam Market. There is also a bot who gives and takes Dota 2 invites.
The release of Dota 2 will mean something big... NO MORE INVITE SPAM. The world will become a better place... For now.
I'm okay with this as long as they will stop giving me those invites.
OH WOW I give 0% shits.
Never gotten an invite. Feels good.

That headline was really unnecessary.
I hate it when gaming sites put even more cold water on the burned area of their fans. On purpose.
Wow after Dota 2 it means Valve can work on more projects!
And by that I mean not Half-Life 3 or any other game for that matter!

Because it took 300 devs to work on it.
They are, of course, working on different projects too.

Doesn't make it sound any less awkward. It sounds like saying "Gabe are releasing a game."
that title got my hopes up, then I realised that it would be some other game that I don't really care about.

Any games? Usually they have something down the pipeline that we know about. After DoTA2, there's nothing. Just a void.

Next Half Life? It's like you people really think that they aren't working on it. I mean, it sounds like you think that
"not a single person works on it". Which is certainly not the case. They just don't show anything.
Also, they are working on their Mini-PC Bigfoot and Source 2.
And yeah, they might even have a new IP in the works.
And the next Half Life won't be shown until the new engine is entirely finished.
They said many times in the past, that they aren't finished with Freeman yet.
Chrome told me Facepunch was down when I went to click on this and I was half expecting Half Life 3 had been announced and Facepunch had gone so batshit they brought down the servers.

It doesn't matter what you say as long as somebody can understand what you were trying to say.
I have 10 copies of DOTA 2 ready to go! Get them while you can! Selling hot!

Heard you the first time dude.
Did you guys seriously believe this would have ANYTHING to do with HL3? Face it, it's going to to come out long after you've forgotten about it. RPS didn't fool you, you fooled yourselves
I like it how lots of people rated it dumb, meaning:
A- "muh desires above everyone else", or in other words, everything you don't like is dumb and doesn't needs any concern and to be released, despite having maybe 300x more fans than the stuff you like,
B- "goddamn them working on dota, work on HL3!", as if they don't have 300 employees working on different things, of which one has been said to be HL3, which will have a brand new engine, hence taking so much time
I feel like a mod should sticky this all over facepunch to remind people. It's just really fucking annoying to always hear someone whine about hl3.

You see, I read somewhere in the Valve section of FP that Episode 3 was confirmed to be the end of the current Half-life story arc, and that this confirmation was fairly recent. Using the current Source engine its limits would be a nice way to wrap up the series and use Source 2 for the next games as well as being a nice send off for the old engine.
Whichever way it goes, I just want this story wrapped up, and Marc Laidlaw off of Twitter before he gets even more bored.

deep as heck haven't heard that b4
Since Dota 2 is done, Valve no longer has a game in development, and I believe they've almost always had a game in development their entire life as a company, while they have no obligation to uphold that pattern, it would just make sense in general to start development/show development on a game.
It's getting a bit annoying how almost every bit of news in regard to Valve is either about tf2 or dota2. It'd be nice if they would talk about the other projects they have going.
