• What is the best software for password-protecting folders (Windows Vista)?

I want to password protect a few certain folders in the off chance that my friends (or family, I suppose) decide to browse through my external hard-drive. What's the best software (preferably freeware/shareware) to ensure that my private life remains private?
Just use the batch file method from this thread: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=757357
Just use TrueCrypt. It's a hell of a lot easier than doing batch file shit and plus nobody in your family would figure out how to virtually mount the file.
Don't even bother, just use the NTFS permissions, they are there for a reason.
