So, I'm having an argument with someone about the color in a piece of paper, one of us says that it is dark yellow, and the other one says it's orange.
Here is the piece of paper in question:

I'd say a light brown to be honest.
That's roughly the color of my morning piss, which I can't tell from yellow or orange either

Take a photo [i]without[/i] flash, on a white background, and set your damn white balance.
its ambiguous, dimly lit, not next to a solid reference, and is border line orange/yellow/brown.
Plus individual monitor settings will change the appearance.

Orange, almost slightly golden/amber.

I must agree with you gary, sometimes you can't tell what specific color it is.

So in reality, both answers are correct.
First picture looked like a shot of a hipster album due to the lighting so it looked faded yellow, but the second one is clearly orange. what even is the object?
