Stronghold 1 & Crusaders are still the only ones worth anybody's time.
The castle is still on fire, my liege!
All these patches have things listed that any RTS game should have.

Stronghold 2 was fine.
Is it out of alpha yet?
I never played Stronghold 2, but the original was one of my favorite games of all time - I actually still play it occasionally. Is Stronghold 3 worth getting? Or will I just be really disappointed?
Crusader is the best in my opinion.
I didn't wait for any advice, just got the game and tried it... I don't want to be too harsh, but my god, that was one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. What kind of budget did the developers have? I felt like I was playing a game designed for Windows 98. The original looked way better than this one graphics wise. And why did the UI take up half the gamescreen? Were they trying to cover up all those terrible textures? I really hope they sell that IP to a game studio that has a better handle on game making... The soundtrack was sick though, Ill give em that. I loved that Sir Robin song

It was made by the original devs.
