what a misleading title
they mean the development will be quicker, not the game itself
I was going too say, the story telling in the first one was great. It's too bad that there was DLC tacked on the finish the game off.
It was fast paced at times, REALLY fast paced. That damn bridge.. God that was scary and intense.
Then it had it's bits where it would slow down, to keep you immersed with the story.
It was a great game that deserves more credit. The gun gameplay wasn't spectacular but it wasn't horrible.

Really? I thought the gun shooting fit pretty darn well.
Alan Wake, Season 2. Any returning characters other than Alan for this TV show?
Took me around 9 hours to complete the first one, and I loved the fuck out of it, it's the only game which i've completed in a single run in one day, it was that fun I just couldn't get off it.
And it's being re-released for PC today!
Well yeah. Anything is faster then over half a decade.

Alan wake is going to turn into call of duty. Alan Wake 1... 2 ..3...4..5..6.. Oh god..
(He made it sound like you dont need to change anything about the engine at all. Which is why half of the people complain about call of duty)

No, he's just saying they won't need to create an engine from nothing again.

Half life 2 source engine would like to have a word with you. Plus Remedy is more focusing on the story aspect of Alan Wake than the graphics itself. If you have a game with really engaging story, you won't care about the graphic. This is also why Half-Life 2 episodes and Portal are good despite using an outdated engine.
As long as they do a good story and innovate the gameplay in each game I'll be happy to buy them.
