My parents are both immigrants that put a mortgage/bought this apartment. Its not very big, and surrounded by other lower-middle class pacific islanders. We don't really struggle with money, but we don't really have much to spend. I look and almost envy these people with actual houses and rooms to sleep in (I sleep in the living room on the couch, have been for 11 years), and wonder what it would be like to have the freedom/isolation of an area which you can call yours. Masturbation is awkward, as I have to wait for everyone to leave the house, and listen for anyone that might approach the door. Sometimes I wonder if I were to come across the problem of a girl wanting to see where I live, which is basically a family in an apartment.
My parents are asian-rednecks, if you will. If I went to college and became a doctor, I'd be the first in my family with a college-paying job - the closest we have to that is my cousin who became a travel agent after attending a community college. I want to become a doctor, and give my parents something back other than happiness, but I want to do that as soon as possible without dealing drugs. They said I'm set for college, just as long as I have my grades in check, which I do. If your intellect was a fist, mines would make pancakes of peoples heads.
If you could read that crap, then I'd like for you to just give some idea on how to propel myself in life - wanting to escape this apartment, and into the world.
Kill your parents. Or get a job.
Get a low paying job, slowly work your way up the ladder making as many friends as you can and calling in lots of favors, and you might get a decent job.
Sell Durgz
Start at the bottom and build yourself up. Or move to a random country and start over.
Join the army, do your 6-8 years, then go to college. When I finish this and my next deployments, I'm going to school on the governments tab.
