My it's starting to feel like Railworks in here.
Compared to the roughly $1000 you would spend on the DLC for that, I can deal with this. It's been a while since they released a small content pack like this anyway, and the Genkibowl was an actual set of added missions and such.
They just keep getting lazier. The vehicle and weapon are both reskins of what's already in the game and it's not worth paying for the suit at all. Because I love this game, I'll buy the actual gameplay DLCs but this cosmetic stuff is really dumb.
(This is DLC that's included in the game files.)
My it's starting to feel like Railworks in here.
Except I think railworks actually had to download some content. All the current DLC is in the game files at launch (Z Style, Money Shot, all the costume packs...) and they just unlock it.
The thing with Railworks is that it's aimed at a specific niche, these are the sort of people who are willing to shelve out hundreds of pounds for additional content. The content is painstakingly made with very accurate models and good controls, it can take months for a small team to develop content packs. Another thing to take into account is that not many people are going to be buying this content, so the prices have to keep the developers afloat. The price tag justifies itself.
What slot is the weapon for?
This is more comparable to TF2 and Portal 2. A bunch of cosmetic stuff that's overpriced and doesn't really affect anything.
I would value this around 10 cents in terms of content
The weapon takes the assault rifle slot. I used it up until about a week ago.

[editline]14th February 2012[/editline] And I'd imagine that, given how it is a sniper rifle, it takes the place of the special weapons category same as the standard sniper rifle.
What? This just came out.
If I recall, this was one of the pre-order bonuses. One that they said they would not release for purchase.
This was a bonus for purchasing Prima Guide Oh, FUNTIME! preorder pack is available too, which is pretty cool
if you pirate the game you get shit loads of DLC, half of which hasn't even been released yet I think
Yep, Saints Row 3 isn't a saint and is selling things already in the game
Will buy it anyway, volition deserves the money Imo but I agree its starting to get ridiculous with the dlcs
hey look the dlc i got when i bought the strategy guide (bought it just incase for friend-related things)
Alot of DLCs are a joke, when I first heard about the DLC intergration with Steam I couldn't wait to not having to deal with the tedious expansion packs, but it seems that DLC is only to cash in some extra coin from the public, a shame really.
Only 1 piece of DLC has costed over £2, don't really see it as a huge concern since most of it is cosmetics. Although it is a little immoral to sell stuff already included in the game, I think preorder 'benefits' are okay.
what an appropriate dlc name except it's like you're paying them to wank on to your face
