Some radio in our country is giving away 30.000 € to first person who finds out what this sound is: http://www.radiocenter.si/Portals/0/mp3/SZ_2013.mp3 Hint is that you can see and hear it everyday, everywhere. Any ideas? Also, I think I only have 1 chance.
Pen click slowed down a bit?
Also, if I win the money, I'll give some to the person who got it right. [editline]26th September 2013[/editline]
Pen click slowed down a bit?
That's actually not a bad idea.
I get these kinda crackling-shuffling sounds (but not as mechanical as a pen) in my ears in the morning when I dry-swallow and clench my face in this is weird way, anyone else?
Clicking is totally not out of the question. But to me it sounds like the click from a mouse. I mean we have to think about the everyday everywhere thing so pen might be a better guess
I think it's a little to hard sound for a mouse. At least my mouse sounds quiet.
To me it sounds more like a stapler. The initial click is when the 2 upper parts click, and then the stapler goes through the papers and yeah
no that's normal I hear something similar when clenching my jaw
Huh, thanks. I supposed it was more or less normal, but to me in the morning it's louder for some reason, and I don't do it deliberately after getting up.
Sped up and removed the gap in the middle... Not convinced it's a pen, but it's my best guess at the moment. Could also be a computer mouse as someone suggested.

Damn, I think stapler is the closest right now. [editline]26th September 2013[/editline]
Sped up and removed the gap in the middle...
That's really nice of you to do it, but I'm not really sure if a radio can do such a thing. Slow things down or speed them up. Yeah, could be reading way too far into this. Car indicator?
I'm gunna stick with my first guess computer mouse like I said. however, what if we're missing the trick. And the sound is actually normal speed? Or slowed down. or maybe I'm just an idiot.
Little Green's edit sounds like a mouse, but normal speed sounds like stapler. I would go with stapler now, but someone might have a better idea.
holy shit I didn't even think about the turn signal blinker! speaking of car. How bout the click of a seatbelt?
Nah, click of a seatbelt sounds faster. Without that gap.
Well guys, I gave my answer as stapler. I don't know if I got it right or wrong, time will tell. If anyone still has an idea, I can apply again. It's not 1 answer per person.
Hint is that you can see and hear it everyday, everywhere.
Light switch
The latch on a door?
Well I just went to youtube looking for stapler sounds and after hearing some, I think my answer was wrong Out of the 3 videos I watched, this one is the one that sounds the most similar to that one, but I notice it is a lot more harsher. I would have suggested a mouse click otherwise, but it would have to be a really big and old mouse to make such a deep sound with so many clicks. Mine just goes *click*
It could be the clicking sound of a Date/Price Gun: [t]http://www.gleesonagencies.com.au/images/meto_pricing-gun.gif[/t] It's hard finding a good youtube video or sound byte of the actual clicking noise, but it sounds pretty close to it. [editline]26th September 2013[/editline] Oh wait, didn't see the hint. I guess this isn't something you would see everyday, everywhere.
Sounds a lot like this:
Well I thought about it some more, and I to me it sounds like something closing and opening. But not just any door for a room because that would make a lot of echo and all, but something smaller. Id suggest something like a mailbox. Not the american ones, the european ones, which just have a flap on one side. Or maybe even the ones that are built in the doors. The flap of the thing Im talking about.
Something that has to do with a cash register. Maybe an ignitition to a gas furnace. Someone opening a car door - the door handle sound? At least that's what the Volkswagen van sliding door handle sounds like :) You don't hear staplers everything. Heck, I haven't heard one in weeks.
If it was opened and closed really quickly and smoothly [editline]26th September 2013[/editline] my automerge. An for some reason I keep thinking its one of those minecraft buttons sound effect. But thats not the real world anyway
