So steam is having a sale right now, and me and my brother want to buy a game we can play online. We only have 40$ USD, so it'll have to be like 15-20$ each.
Is Gmod a good choice? A game that isn't dead, and still has a lot of people playing.

If you're under 14 I wouldn't recommend it unless you wan't to get trolled like fuck, but on the other hand, if you're 14 or over, I would highly recommend it if you download wiremod.

You have to have at least one source game in order to play Garrys Mod, that includes titles such as Half Life 2, Css, etc, any games made with the source engine will work with Garrys Mod.

I would recommend getting orange box with garry's mod, with the sales is only 20 bucks. The games in orange box are great in their own right, and go well with garry's mod.

Definitely up there on the list, then.
I was a bit weary of gmod at first but, it is one of the best fucking games I have ever had the pleasure of spending money on plus it lead me to this community of welcoming, kind, and like minded people called facepunch
