Okay, so, this is kind of random but I remember watching a movie like ~10 years ago in the middle of the night about a couple teenagers in a Juvenile Detention Facility and I totally can't remember the name of it or find it via google.
I can't remember a lot of details but the scenes I remember for sure are that one of the main characters (a white guy) pretends to be black and has a discussion about being black with his actually black Councillor. That same kid also had romantic involvement with a "crazy" girl who was also in the facility and the movie ended with them both escaping, or being close to escaping and changing their minds. Now this was on Cinemax or Shotime at like, 4 AM. It didn't have anybody famous in it so it was probably an independent film. It wasn't old, i'd say probably early to mid 2000s.
Based on how difficult it is to find this movie on Google I'd wager not a ton of people even remember it but I've seen people find crazy obscure things in Fast Threads before and maybe someone else remembers seeing it. I don't know if it was even a good movie, I just remember really enjoying it in that weird space I was at at 4 AM on that one random day in like 2006.
