Waffles of course.

behold in fullscreen glory the unmistakeable majesty
crepes, rolled up with fruit inside
Waffles have built in syrup, cream and fruit reservoirs, whereas on pancakes it just rolls right off

Don't you mean, "really thin pancakes."
Waffles have built in syrup, cream and fruit reservoirs, whereas on pancakes it just rolls right off
not so
actual syrup, not the corn syrup aunt jemaymays trash, soaks straight into breads
on pancakes, it is easier to spread cream and fruit evenly
Waffles have built in syrup, cream and fruit reservoirs, whereas on pancakes it just rolls right off
Pancakes absorb each drop of syrup like a sponge, making each bite full of sweet syrup and pancake.
Waffles 'reservoirs' break and leak when you start cutting up the waffle and spreading butter across them makes it impossible to spread evenly across the whole thing, unlike the smooth surface of delicious pancakes.
French toast is oh my god so perfect

I'm pro-pancakes and I would take waffles over French toast.
Fuck pancakes

This man simply cannot be trusted as president
I like my waffles and pancakes equally, thank you very much.
Both of them make me sick
Where's the option for both
Never had waffles, so pancakes all the way.
Where's the option for both
You must pick a side in the coming war or be crushed under the boots of both armies.
pancakes all the way, somehow i don't really eat fresh waffles
The question reminds me of this gem:

Neither.
Where is the bacon option?
Both are fucking great. Why must we divide ourselves and choose?
Neither.

Your bloodline is weak and your family will not last the winter.
Crepes? I like em thinner so I can roll them and have a nutella orgy in my mouth.
A nice fluffy stack of pancakes will do in a pinch though.
Give me two fresh-made waffles with maple syrup and a scoop of French vanilla icecream on top and then try to talk to me about the virtues of pancakes.
On one hand, you can slightly more easily spread butter and syrup on one pancake, put some bacon or sausage on that and then top with another pancake. On the other hand, combining waffle batter, liquid smoke and caramels = moon waffles.
Kind of a tough call. I guess I gotta go Pancakes. I've oddly enough never had fresh, non frozen waffles because dumb as it sounds, we were always too broke to get a waffle iron. I have had fresh pancakes though and I approve.
Granted you can get a serious stomach ache if you eat too many pancakes and then drink something. THAT has never happened with waffles for me at least.
[sp]I am well aware that you can make a "sandwich" with waffles like I stated with pancakes and that you can swap pancake batter in place of waffle batter for "moon" pancakes[/sp]
Fuck it, crumpets. Crumpets are the embodiment of 'why not both'. Same consistency as pancakes, includes waffle-like texture on top. Fucking amazing with nutella
pancakes with bacon and sausage cuts, drowned in maple syrup
