I'm sorry to sound like an ass, but what was that everyone was saying? "EA is a sinking ship?" Doesn't seem like it.

Ah, good to know the rate of tasteless, gullible players is still high.
Ah, good to know the rate of tasteless, gullible players is still high.
FIFA is fun don't you be hatin' I don't buy it every year, more like every 2-3 years but I get my moneys worth out of it. However it annoys me when EA games which are fantastic like SSX don't get any sales, but this breaks records. Resulting in no SSX sequel :(
Ah, good to know the rate of tasteless, gullible players is still high.
People like things I don't like, ergo they are gullible and tasteless.
Ah, good to know the rate of tasteless, gullible players is still high.
God forbid people want to play games that they enjoy.
So... since FIFA13 on Wii was quite literally FIFA12, are they combining those stats together to get this number?
Nothing like kicking an inflated pig's bladder into a net for an exciting sport.
EA, what did I tell you about fixing your shit!? And the only reason FIFA 13 is so popular is because EA's main market are 12 year-olds with the verbal shits...and football.

everybody and their mothers are buying this in qatar because it has an arabic announcer....its been done before in winning eleven 8 or something but fan made called "arabic plus" and a crappy one with a kid announcer called "captain majid" because it was based on an old anime we used to watch :v:
Its fine that people buy whatever they want and play whatever they like, but honestly... Soccer games break the record of rehashed releases whenever one is released. They even surpass CoD in that aspect.
Fifa 13 is way better than Fifa 12. Fifa 12 was not that much different from 11.

While it's sad to see such an unoriginal game selling so well, it is good at what it does.
Fifa 13 is way better than Fifa 12. Fifa 12 was not that much different from 11.
Other than the new Impact engine stuff and whole new defense gameplay mechanics. FIFA 12 changed loads. It was the first one that was a legit improvement since like 2005.
people want all the new players/cups/whatever....EA can always update the game but noooo they want to make more money
Not really, they build on their games and make sure that each release is filled with content. There's only so much you can put on a disc y'know. [editline]3rd October 2012[/editline]
Other than the new Impact engine stuff and whole new defense gameplay mechanics.
people want all the new players/cups/whatever....EA can always update the game but noooo they want to make more money
You can't just "add" new players or cups, everything in the game is based on real-life. All the players in the game are real, and all the cups/tournaments are actual real life tournaments. Whenever trades happen or a player gets picked up by a team, they do update the game and update all of the rosters so its all up to date. Also, I love sports games, just picked up NHL 13, going to pick this up next, was playing it at my cousins and had an absolute blast.

It was the first one that was a legit improvement since like 2005.
FIFA 10 was the biggest change. It was an entirely new game when compared to previous versions. FIFA 11 added all the goalkeeper mechanics, but was relatively tame in its changes. FIFA 12 was another pretty big step. FIFA 13 is a smaller step up, but it's added lots of refinements that make it an overall better experience than FIFA 12.
People who don't play sports rag on sports games because A. they don't understand them, and B. they are evolution denialists. They say its the same game every year but sports games prove evolution. Gradual change over time. Play FIFA 1 or some shit and try and say its the same game.
Well it's no surprise that FIFA roster is updated. Can you imagine anyone still playing FIFA 97 to this day? Sports games is the only video game that I am OK with for yearly releases. No one wants to play an outdated team roster. But what ever happened to FIFA online 2?
I actually bought it on the day of release. It was my first FIFA game and I didn't even know it had just come out, I just fancied it with a mate. It's awesome though, very good fun.
Oh look another fifa. this time features SHINNIER BALLS
people want all the new players/cups/whatever....EA can always update the game but noooo they want to make more money
Madden 2010, EA updated rosters instantly. I remember the quarterback for the Titans was injured and not 2 days later, he was on the bench in-game and Collins was now on the field. Of course, barely a year, if that, after 2010 was released, they shut the online portion of the game down
