Seems to me they made an alpha build for Early Access to cash in, then left with the profits.
Another black mark on the name of early access, thanks Supercrit. To be honest I think the 'take the money and run' thing early access games do is less about deliberate misleading and more just complacency, and maybe lack of experience. Still, it should be a lesson for new developers that going down the early access route can very easily make you lazy.
Dang it. Just... dangit. Seriously, they could have made so much more money if they just finished developing the game. I really liked this, too.
I find it funny how a few months ago people were saying how THIS was going to beat Rust. Rust may still need work and not have those oh so precious dinosaurs that some people want, but at least Facepunch has been working on it. Then again it could just be a "blackout" before a bunch of new information is released and such.
Thing is, this game is really the last I would have guessed they'd do with this. They really pushed for this to be on Steam and then the guy just disappears? Doesn't make any sense. Running off with the money they made is chump change compared what they stand to make if this thing ever becomes playable. Of course that'd be more difficult than just leaving the project but this is the guy's one shot at doing a game. Why mess it up for some small amount when they're looking at a figure in the millions at the least?

All I ask for is one good survival-based dinosaur game. But nooooooo.

My brother bought this as his "first" steam game. He wanted to buy me a copy for my birthday. I'm glad I talked him out of it. Still looks completely broken.
Dont know why anyone was so pumped for this and then how people were so quick to buy. It looked like shit from day 1.

It's really fun despite the lack of much to do. [QUOTE=Brt5470;45595115]My brother bought this as his "first" steam game. He wanted to buy me a copy for my birthday. I'm glad I talked him out of it. You can do just about everything you can possibly do in the game in under 30 minutes if you know what you're doing. Apart from tribes which didn't work much.
The game was fun for a few hours, but there was NO content, then they made it easier to tame dinosaurs. You bolo people, then you kill them. It got boring too quick.
