You are thinking of "taking a shower", he is using another term. There are two kinds of penis types, "Showers" and "Growers". "Growers" like the name suggests, is the kind of penis that when erect, grows into full size. "Showers" are the other type of penis that remains in its erect size even when flaccid. The "Grower" type is the most common one, with only 20% of men having "Showers". The upsides of having a "Shower" is of course that you have more bragging rights than other men when flaccid, the downside of "Showers" is that it may take longer to get a full erection as the blood has to travel longer.
