Do you hate joining forums late? - General

I totally do, makes me look like a nub, which I'm obviously not, I just couldn't find this forum on the web, and I'm starting to love it already...Seeing my join date just makes me cry.

I don't care either way. In fact Facepunch is the only forum I've seen where people get so worked up over post count and join date.

I do. Whenever I see a forum I think I may at some time become interested in, I sign up and just leave my account to sit. For example, back in 2006 I signed up on the AtariAge forums, but never touched it until recently. Instant "senior member" status, even though it doesn't really matter.

I feel lame even posting seeing as how i joined like 10 min ago. I had an old account but it had a bad name so I just made this one, but I still feel new. So yes, I hate joining late.

People shouldn't get wound up about it... But then, there's me being a massive hypocrite with my plans to mature a SA account for a while like a fine cheese before I actually start posting there.

I know what you feel, but i don't care. I just love the forum. Hell yeah.

And people who express a love for it often get a lot of flak. And the best way to get hold of the Facepunch status quo, just lurk for a while. If in doubt don't post, observe what others do. Just as the homepage says when you're not logged in.

I wouldn't worry about it. This is the only forum that cares about join dates. Although, we also used to care about what our rating was, and what our Smartness was. None of it matters because it's fucking facepunch. Nothing serious goes on here, so don't worry about it.

Facepunch is like one big hive mind. It has a list of what it hates, and if you post something on that list... God help you :ohdear: Wait, Facepunch hates religion! Please don't hurt me :gonk:

I joined about a month after I found Facepaunsh, which was a few days after I found Gmod 9 on some backwater website.
