if some rich fuck installs one down under
are 'Toilet Bowl Cleaning' symbols reversed?
Good idea Japan.
I had a fight with one the other day in a public restroom. I thought I was pressing the flush button, but it turns out I pressed the squirt the fucking cubicle door with a high pressure hose and splash my pants button, and I couldn't find out how to stop it.
All the Japanese people were staring at me when I left the cubicle.
Worst day ever - I feel like I got beaten up by a toilet.
大 and 小 you learn at the first toilet. No surprises from there on out. That butt squirt icon i've never seen absent.
I honestly find the icons to be a bit vague, apparently this is supposed to be a fan. :v:

What are those two first icons, the tornado buttons? Apparently not, that's how you flush the toilet.
What's this, the "summon a tsunami in your bathroom" button? :v: I read the article and I already forgot, was it the stop button? Wouldn't it be easier to just write STOP as a word?

If I saw this at a glance I would have no idea what any of these would mean.

Im actually wondering if the article has the two quoted symbols backwards. The first icon looks like a stop button on an AV playback device, such as a DVD player, the second one looks like wind.
"Clockwise from top left"
Nah, they got it right, it's just a bit weirdly organized
The first one listed is the top left, and the last one is the bottom left.

Ahh, missed that. Doesnt help that 'Front Spray' is a picture of somebodys rear

I missed the clockwise direction, I'm not exactly used to that order, what an awkward way of setting the direction you are supposed to look at, some of the icons are still vague either way. I'm unsure if I'm trying to summon a blackhole or flush my toilet. :v:
Most (including the ones in my home) for some time now had symbols easy enough for anybody to understand (or at least I think so) but good to see some standardization.
Even then, I still do not understand why foreigners have trouble using these though. The symbols seem self-explanatory more than enough, perhaps they are overestimating the features on these or the amount of toilets that can be flushed with a button when there are many toilets that flush with a lever?
At the same time I am disappointed by the lack of these outside of Japan. They are not as expensive as people think.
Wouldn't mind one of these fancy toilets, the problem is they're expensive fuck.
