And if you didn't know what a forum signature is, it's what would be after you post, like a picture or something that shows up on all your posts. If anyone can explain this better then tell me.

I think that forums should be relatively impersonal places of discussion, and as such, tidbits about the individual poster embedded into every post is an absolute waste. The avatar, title, and profile page is plenty of customization and personal expression.
