i personally haven't had loot fall through anything but who knows
there's a bit of a clipping problem with loot and some weird physics when you drop guns(such as them flying like a thousand kilometers away), but that doesn't mean it isn't being worked on just because they haven't pushed a fix yet

I've noticed lots of items clip through the ground, but never disappear through the ground. They've always been collectable.
Are we talking about completely falling to an endless void here?

Well it's happened to me more than once. The ground around the golden chest seems to do this all the time.
Can i get my Badass ranks back? mine were reset randomly one day.

I had that with the chest that requires golden keys, they bounced out and fell straight through the floor
That's weird seeing as the stuff in the chest is locked in place until you actually pick it up.
I have opened the gold chest several times, and it stayed in place, and I haven't had any loot or money go through the floor.
Currently like in the upper 25 levels. 25-28, somewhere around there, so it's not like I played for five seconds.

I've had it with quite a few chest, I guess my games bugged because the talking guns also got stuck on no matter what gun I had equipt.

It's not opening the chest, but if you have, say a full inventory, and swap guns instead of picking them up, I've had mine that I drop go through the floor. It's only happened like 3 or 4 times to me out of the probably 20 or 30 times I've done something like that.
I don't think it goes through the floor, I think the physics bug out and send it flying extremely fast, I noticed this when playing slots and dropped all the junk at the same time on the floor, one of the guns just flew towards the ceiling and disappeared, I even checked by picking them all up again and I had 26/27 on my backpack, before dropping them I had 27/27. Other than that the only issue I find every now and then is stuff landing slightly below the ground but I can still grab it.
I've watched the purple beam go right through the floor. Downwards. Rather slowly actually.
There's multiple bugs with the physics and loot. Usually it's not a problem, just don't drop your amazing guns on the floor. Unless you like the challenge of finding others.

They should fix the last mission too. A legendary weapon dropped when I defeated a enemy but I couldn't reach it because the enemy's corpse was over it.
I'm hoping they improve browsing the badass challenges, namely 'watching' a challenge. It puts you right back at the top of the long-ass list, and if you close the game or exit to the menu and start it back up, it isn't 'watched' anymore.
Fix the occasionally floating enemies.
I had a key quest object fall through the fucking floor >:C

I supposedly have done 5-6 of them or something. But I have never noticed or consciously done one.
What are they?

Huh, had some similarish behaviour happened with loot jumping out of loot-piles, taking a giant leap 10 meteres in the air and 30 meteres away.
Watched a huge shotgun upgrade phase through the floor aaaaaahhhh.
Imagine if Claptrap's gun phased through the floor...

Oh, you just mean the badass achievements.
There is this own badass achievement about challenges.
But I think I figured out what that was as well. When you have blue text and a plus sign next to the check box on a quest target, that is an optional challenge.
I went to drop my purple weapon to give to a friend but it went through the floor.
