Wouldn't it be a good feature to detect inactivity like Windows Messenger does? If they don't move the mouse or keyboard for a specific amount of time?
And if they are inactive just put it next to there name or something.

actually it detects it for me after about 5 minutes...
It has auto-away after five minutes, "snooze" after a few hours.
You have the option for that in "settings", i have 5 minutes before it sets me to "away"
